Whilst Digital Camera Traders will always offer the
best possible support it can to you, it is essential
that you fulfil your own personal responsibilities.
This document is to help with this process and forms
part of your contract with us. Please contact us,

Delivery
Digital Camera Traders only supply and deliver
products to UK customers.
Next working day delivery is offered, but not guaranteed,
on items in stock and where an order is placed before
3.00pm on Monday to Thursday. Time will not be deemed
to be of the essence of this contract at any time
now or in the future.
Orders placed before 3.00pm on Friday will be delivered
on the following Monday (except English Bank Holidays).
Orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be delivered
on the following Tuesday (Wednesday if following an
English Bank Holiday Monday).
Orders placed on a Bank Holiday Monday will be delivered
on Wednesday.
All orders to Northern Ireland and The Isle of Man
are sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery or a similar
service.
Out of stock items will be obtained as soon as possible
and then despatched by next day courier or Royal Mail
as applicable.

For security reasons we can only deliver
to the cardholders/account holders address.
Packaging
and insurance
We use an insured courier delivery service, which
costs £10.00 including VAT

Credit and Debit cards
We accept all major credit and debit cards, including:

Cheque
We will also accept payment by cheque business or
personal but we will not despatch the goods until
cleared funds appear in our Bank account.
Bank Transfer
Bank transfers of funds will also be accepted and
details of our bank account will be supplied on request.
Purchase Orders
Government and Local Authority Purchase Orders will
also be accepted, but separate conditions do apply
and we would ask such purchasers to contact us on

We will not debit your
card until your order is ready for dispatch.

Fourteen Day Money Back Guarantee.
We provide a 14 day money back guarantee if you are
not satisfied with the items you have purchased. When
we send you an item the box will be security sealed
by us after we have checked the contents.
This guarantee is subject to the item being sealed
unopened and unused and all supplied items returned
to us at the purchasers expense.

Important
Customer Responsibilities
Please read the following information thoroughly
before setting-up your new equipment as it affects
your warranty. Do not dispose of or damage any packaging
materials at any time during the full warranty period.
Whilst the goods you have purchased may be of the
highest quality, like any electrical device, it could
fail at any time in the future. Please ensure that
the arrangements you now personally make for such
an eventuality, in combination the warranty you have
received included in the price of your goods, or have
purchased as an extra, are appropriate for your needs
The standard warranty included with most major hardware
items guarantees that it has to be returned to Digital
Camera Traders, by the customer, at the customer’s
cost, we will perform the required service work promptly
and efficiently, within the constraints of the availability
of any required spare parts.
Test your new goods now & retain all
packaging for at least thirty days from receipt.
After reading the above, please set up your new goods
and operate it for sufficient time for you to be satisfied
that it is fully working. Digital Camera Traders will
normally replace any units either showing defects
upon delivery, within the first 30 days from the date
of purchase. This period starts from the purchase/despatch
date.
The provision of our replacement service (or any
mail order or showroom returns during the full warranty
period) is subject to the owner safely returning items
to Digital Camera Traders, at their expense in complete
and unmarked manufacturer’s original packaging.
If the manufacturer’s original packaging material
is not available, under no circumstances will Digital
Camera Traders collect.
You will need to make your own secure and insured
arrangements for returning your goods to us under
such circumstances. If your storage space is limited,
flatten cardboard boxes by removing tape from the
base of cartons and store the polystyrene or foam
separately, but for your own benefit, do not throw
boxes etc. away.
The following information is part of your
DIGITAL CAMERA TRADERS warranty so please read it
thoroughly before setting-up or using your new equipment.
Do not dispose of or damage any packaging materials.
Customer
Responsibilities
• All new major hardware items, are guaranteed
for a minimum of one year from the date of purchase,
unless otherwise advised
• Any major items found to be faulty within
the initial 30 days of the warranty period will be
replaced with new, providing our warranty procedures
are adhered to
• After the above period items will be repaired
or replaced at the manufacturers discretion.

Software
All items supplied with supporting software is deemed
to be suitable for the purchasers computer and or
operating systems. It is the purchasers’ responsibility
to satisfy themselves that any item purchased will
work with their equipment. The Manufacturers Helpdesk
supports manufacturers software whilst in warranty
not Digital Camera Traders.
If you need to return the item we will issue a returns
authorisation number prior to you returning it. Which
must be clearly marked on the returned box
Please pack the requested items in their original
and complete, inner and outer packaging. We cannot
be held responsible for any transit damage to items
if they are not packaged in this way, and any subsequent
repairs to correct transit damage would be chargeable.
If the problem has occurred within the first 30 days
of the warranty period, your returned hardware would
normally be replaced with brand new equipment. However,
to enable DIGITAL CAMERA TRADERS to offer a replacement
rather than a repair, the items must be in AS NEW
condition. This means that the items and their packaging
need to be in excellent condition, with good plastic
bags, unbroken polystyrene mouldings, cardboard and
foam packers where applicable and in the case of ink
jet printers ink cartridges should be removed. The
printed outer box in which the unit was supplied must
have no handwriting or labels affixed whatsoever and
must be packed in the brown outer box in which the
unit was delivered.
We reserve the right to impose a handling
charge for any items incorrectly returned, found to
have no fault.
Liability
We hope the above clearly
explains how our returns system operates.
Please carefully consider all the above information
now. Do not wait until the first signs of problems,
which, if they do appear, will undoubtedly come too
late for remedial action to be taken. Please contact
us on the support e-mail address above for specific
advice as Digital Camera Traders maximum liability
is specifically limited to the value of the original
item(s) supplied, less usage depreciation. No claims
for consequential loss can be accepted.
Please forgive us for the direct nature of the information
here, but we hope you can appreciate the need for
it. Subsequent use of your equipment assumes acceptance.
A variable handling charge, minimum 15%, will always
be made on any equipment returned, for whatever reason,
in an unsatisfactory condition, or if correctly supplied
by Digital Camera Traders and being accepted back
at its discretion. This document does not affect your
statutory rights.
